Company History
PBSI has been in the custom software development business for almost 25 years. PBSI consultants have on average 20 years of development experience on the IBM Midrange host platforms. As our clients began to implement departmental networks in the early 1990's, PBSI responded to their needs and developed a software service in Visual Basic and C#.
In 1987, with the arrival of IBM's AS/400, PBSI developed a proprietary migration methodology using IBM's migration aid products. Those migrations were highly successful because they provided customers with a comprehensive plan, service and training to transition to the new system effectively and know how to use it once they got there.
Recently, PBSI has refocused on the migration technology. This time, the .NETigration technology provides a turnkey migration path from the iSeries legacy applications to Microsoft's .NET platform.
PBSI's client list is long and prestigious. In addition to IBM itself, the list includes:
| "I have worked at PBSI for more than 20 years and we are very excited about our new .NETigration technology and what it can do for our customers." |
| -- Viki Simpson, PBSI |
The advantages of teamwork PBSI and Microsoft experts have teamed up to create a full suite of offerings to assist the industry in migrating valuable business assets. PBSI provides the depth of iSeries technical expertise, the technology which migrates legacy applications to .NET, and the technical expertise to maximize the effectiveness of Microsoft's technology within iSeries installations. Microsoft and PBSI work together through the Midrange Alliance Partner Program to provide Proof of Concept projects which allow iSeries customers to see how their legacy applications can look in the .NET platform. |
